6th Grade Science focuses on Earth. From the patterns created as we travels through space to the history, formation and changes of our planet.

Students plot locations using latitude and longitude to uncover 3 cities that should have the same climates. Then, using Climographs, students explain WHY the cities actually have different climates.

During the second Semester, students will write a report on the defining characteristics of Planets, Dwarf Planets, Asteroids, and Comets based on their scaled properties (MS-ESS1-3).
